What is 6G golf?

6G is an official 6-hole standard round of golf played on Certified 6-Hole Links (6-hole golf courses) within existing 18-hole golf courses, attracting a new market of millions of new golfers to play alongside the 18-hole industry.
Shorter-quicker more flexible play options simply attract larger audiences of golfers, both young and old, increasing clubhouse and golf course revenues by opening up entirely new streams of income.

6G Golf is overseen and maintained by the World Golfing Federation (WGF) and can be implemented with ease into any existing golf course.

Why Now?

That little cell phone computer in your pocket significantly changed the lifestyles of Americans, and the 18-hole golf game lost its attractiveness to millions.

Too long and too slow is out!
It’s time for golf to capitalize by adding a new shorter-quicker official 6-hole standard round of golf attracting an entirely new market of golfers to play alongside the stale 18-hole industry.

DETAILS

How it Works?

Step 1:
Private and public golf courses enroll to investigate adding 6G Golf alongside their 18-hole golfing programs. The WGF supplies for free a detailed, course-specific proposal to perform services to complete an evaluation to determine acceptable 6G Links within each existing golf course.

Step 2:
Upon acceptance of WGF proposal, each golf course must designate at least one head golf pro to become enrolled in the WGF Certification Program for Head Golf Pros.

Step 3:
WGF performs and completes evaluation determination process and reviews with each golf course, including estimate for all costs.

Step 4:
Upon completion of 6G Certifications process, the WGF staff will work with each golf course to install all new 6G Golf Program elements (for both Pro Shop and golf course) meeting the highest standards set by the WGF.

Step 5:
Upon final approval of all 6G elements, the WGF will issue new 6G Certified Link score cards (Handicap Rated for new 6G Handicap System) for each new 6-Hole Link on each golf course.
